I have used my Kleen Bore one-piece cleaning rod for years {at least ten years}. It has never let me down yet. When I first used the rod I noticed a small lip on the rod around the patch holder. I worked the lip off with a jeweler's diamond file, then polished it with 1000 emery cloth. NOTICE: This is a steel rod. Keep it Marine clean or you can do more damage than good.
